Renter Information

For New Renters — First Things First

Please read this before going to the Happy Trails Community Association Office. Please wait at least 2 business days after checking in at the Gate before going to the Office (The Office is inside the Library).

  1. Transponders allow entrance and exit through unmanned Gates.
    If a renter (minimum 3 month rental term) wants a Transponder, the Lot owner must give permission by checking the little box on the “Notice of Occupancy” form or emailing permission to: receptionist@htresort.com. When this is done, you may purchase a Transponder at the Happy Trails Community Association (HTCA) Office for $25.00.
  2. Receiving Mail: Happy Trails has a Mail Room on site. Renters may have mail temporarily forwarded to HT if the Lot owner provides them with a mailbox key. Please check in with the Mail Room upon arrival if you will be receiving mail; otherwise the mail may be returned to sender.
    Forward to: Your Name; 17200 W Bell Rd, Lot XXXX; Surprise, AZ 85374.
    If the Lot owner does not provide a mailbox key, you may forward to:
    General Delivery, Surprise P.O.; 14955 W Bell Rd; Surprise, AZ 85374.
  3. Resort Email List: Renters (3 months or longer) may ask to receive emails from the HTCA Office, Activities, and the Chuckwagon. You must be checked in and will only receive emails while you are staying in the Resort. Only one email address per Lot, please. Complete the form and leave it in the “Arrival/Departure basket” at the HTCA Office.  (this form is imbedded in the page “First Things First” drop down)
